John Randolph writes to his nephew, John St. George Randolph, (addressing him as "Dear Son") at Mrs. Braidwood's School near London, with news of family members' activities at home, the death of Richard Knowles (with a physical description of him and his approximate arrival date from England), and comments about young Randolph's infirmity (deaf-mute).
